I am merely curious, so please don't burn me at the stake for such sacrilege, but I was wondering if anyone has tried the Recover Tactical CC3H grips for the 1911? for those who are uninitiated, it essentially creates a plasti...Cough... Polymer clamshell around the grip, giving it extra width, texture, and adds a Picitinni rail for mounting new-fangled gadgets like lasers and flashlights.
