Hi Guys. I am an average citizen that is waiting to receive my CCW permit. Only a very occasional range shooter, but I am very comfortable with firearms in general as I have been around them all my life. The more I think about actually carrying and as I have been watching more and more of these concealed carry shootout videos I realize that supplemental training could only benefit me. You know as the Boy Scouts say "Be Prepared".
This begs the question: can anyone specifically recommend types of training to get me started to be more confident and comfortable in this role? Better yet, does anyone have knowledge of the instructors or classes in SE North Carolina and their actual credentials? I have a limited budget as well as limited time and want to be able to get the best value for my dollar. Thank you so much.
