Recommendations needed- 20" side by side

I am thinking about picking up a 20" side by side (cowboyish-coachy) type 12ga. and was wondering if anyone could make some recommendations? The only thing I've looked at so far, (on Davidsons) is the Remington (spartan?).

Well, not the world's greatest brand, but Stoeger makes some like that I believe. Not a bad gun for the $.

I have handled both the remington spartan and the stoger. The remington just plain "feels" better to me, plus you can get screw in chokes in the spartan.

Please, just stay away from the Chinese brands, Norinco etc.

If you can find one, Rossi made a 18½" model with exposed hammers in 12 and 20 bore...

You might have to go to SEACE (Italian house) as they have some beautiful hammer guns for a lot more then a Stoeger but still reasonable and you can even have the stock made to your dimensions!
