Recomendations on buildng an AR LOWER

Old Sneaky here: I need to build myself a lower for some of my AR uppers and here is the situation. I've got a Colt Large hole upper and several other specialized uppers so I need a stripped lower with a large hole. Lately I've seen adds for receivers milled out of a solid billet. How do they compare with the standard forgings--both quality and price???. THANX SNEAKY
 
Pete,

No need to limit your search criteria in selecting your lowers. If you look at Brownells you will find large to small and small to large hole adapters for just a few dollars. That should open up your options.
 
I used a Double Star and a DPMS lower parts kit.

Easy install and the quality is excellent.

Trigger pull on the completed lower is very acceptable, and no, I haven't gotten around to test it.
