Hi,
I would like to know the recoil spring weight(for stiffness) for the 7.62x25 Tokarev pistols. Searching on the net hasnt helped me neither has looking at the Wolff Gunsprings website.
I would imagine that the 9mm spring weight would be between 14#s and 17#s, considering that the slide weight is low compared to other 9mms such as the Glock or 1911s or the Sigs.

I have no way of comparing it to the slide of any other 7.62 pistol other than the CZ52 whose slide weight is heavier than that of the Tokarev so I am guessing that its recoil spring will be of a lesser weight than the Tokarevs.
Thanks,
Anand

there are a few that wolf sells for the 7.62x25, the heavier the spring, the lower the orbit the brass will be put in. I run mine with a #21 if memory serves. I "think" the factory spring is #14, and you can get 17,19 and 21 from wolf.

Dear shooter:
Your brass on some military pistiols will almost go out of sight! However, if it throws about 5 to 7 feet it's o.k.
One way to find the right recoil spring (generally - not always) is to see how far the case is thrown and if it is consistent!
That CZ52 is a real gun; that 7.62X25 round is hot too!
