Recoil Reducers

I was looking at a Sprinco recoil reduction guide rod for my P-99 and wondered if they make much of a difference vs. the factory guide rod?I'm mainly concerned with faster follow-up shots.I find the .40cal a little harder to sight in a second shot than my previous .45cal 1911.If anyone has experience with these I would appreciate your input.

Well

I have just installed the Sprinco in my P89DC and for me there is a slight difference in recovery and recoil felt but I really like the reduction in the amount of pressure impossed on the frame.

I have a bunch of Sprinco's. Use the search feature to find threads on the comments. I did just add one to my .40 Walther P99 last week and, though it does work, it is one of the least noticable of all that I have tried and I was shooting 180gr factory loads. Try one, if you don't like it send it back for a refund.
