Recoil: Folding/Collapsible Stock vs. Standard Stock

Obviously, it all depends on the specific type of collapsible/folding stock, how big is the difference in recoil between the two?
I would think there would be more recoil with a folding/collapsible stock than a standard stock.

I'm just wondering if there's a difference.
 
It depends which stock fits an individual better. However, I'd bet that the folding stock would have more felt recoil as it has not been designed cheifly for ergonomics.
