Today i recieved a winchester model 37 20ga and a old H&R single shot 12ga. The H&R serial number is 464xxx... No idea what model it is the only other mark on it is on the barrel above the breach it says "12ga choke". The winchester has a dangerously light trigger pull under 1lb. Both guns are about 80% or so. Anybody have any info on these?

Winchester's 37 was an interesting single. The hammer and action latch were reversed from the normal positions, but the whole series was well made and unlike all other utility singles, the action was steel and not iron.

Card shooters like these to build custom guns on.

The H&Rs have been around for a long time.

Both are good shotguns, but not all that valuable. Well worth fixing that trigger.

Do shoot them, in your grandfather's memory.....
