Rechamber to 357 Maximum ?

I have a Rossi Stainless 357 Magnum Single Shot Rifle. I'm interested in rechambering to 357 Maximum. I haven't found any rifles in the caliber - only revolvers. The only thing causing me concern is that the small action might not have as much strength as the action for the normal rifle calibers.

Any thoughts from gunsmiths out there?

Thanks

the only guns this was chambered in was revolvers and the TC Contender. It is a heck of a shooter in the TC. it would have been a good shooter in a revolver also but people used the wrong powder and too light a bullet. it is a 50,000 cup round so you need to find out if the action will handle it. it probably will but a professional opinion would be better. it is about .375 long than a 357 mag

A lot of the guys who have NEF single shots have rechambered their 357 NEFs to maximum do a search for NEF and 357 in google and you will find alot of info.
