rechamber hand ejector

I would be hesitant to answer that question. The H&R Magnum pressure runs 21000 cup, 6000 more than the .32 S&W Long, about a 40% increase.

I suggest a letter to S&W, but I suspect they will recommend against any such rechambering, even for the fairly new Model 30.

No, and NO, and NO FRIGGING WAY IN HELL.

If you want a .32 H&R Mag., they're out there. Even better, buy a .327 Magnum, you can shoot .32 H&R Mag in it.

I would not. I would either sell it and put the money in on a new 327 mag or keep it and get the 327 mag. The 327 mag can fire most all modern 32 caliber centerfire revolver cartridges.

Not a good idea then. Does anyone have any other ideas of how to get a j-frame sized 4 to 5 inch barrelled 32 magnum? All input appreciated.

I don't know of any long barreled 32mag J-frames, so I would say the only recourse is to have a new barrel put on one of the 2" 32mags available today.
