I was looking recently at the SA SAR8 and read here in the archives that it has an aluminum receiver? Is stainless steel the better choice?

So should the SAR8 be disqualified from my wish list because of it's receiver? Yeah, yeah I know if I'm happy with the purchase and it works well for me.... don't give me that stuff. Tell me your experiences (+ and -) of these and other types of receiver construction materials. I am trying to make yet another informed choice here.
