Reccomendations for Glock trigger connector

I am looking to tinker with my Glock 17 trigger a bit and thought that the connector would be a great place to start because I'm not sure if I want to switch out springs just yet. I have read mixed reviews on both the stock (-) connector, ghost and LW brands and was wondering if anyone can put in some input on those brands or point me in the right direction. Thanks!

I have used a Scherer 3-1/2 lb connector & a Glock 4.5 lb connector. Final result after the trigger job was complete = 2lb trigger. The lighter connector is a good place to start the trigger work.

IME, one connector brand is about the same quality as the other. I have used Ghost, Scherer, LW and Glock.

The only thing it's going to change is the angle by which the trigger bar is forced downward. To make any REAL difference, you're going to need a spring kit. The 3.5 connector won't get you below 4 lbs without the lighter springs.

I recently put a NY-1 trigger spring and Glockparts.com 3.5 connector in my 19. Made the pull smoother, with a DA revolver type break. And the reset is much stronger now.

I tried the connector by itself in my 17 first and liked it. The break wasn't as crisp but the pull was definitely lighter.

Put some real slick lube on the tip of the trigger bar, where it slides up and down on the connector ramp.
That can make a noticeable difference, too.
