Rear sight adjustment question

I have a Dan Wesson .357 MAG small frame revolver. I think it's a model 15, but it doesn't list the model specifically.

My question (and it will show my newbie status clearly): the rear sight is adjustable. What I need to know (and hopefully this is a standard feature not specific to older Dan Wesson revolvers):

If I turn the elevation screw clockwise, does the sight go up?
If I turn the left/right screw clockwise (it's located on the right hand side of the rear sight), does the sight go left or right?

Thank you for your time.

Hey, turn and discover! It won't hurt a thing. You can count clicks, if it's sighted in to suit you and you don't want to lose that position. Or turn one complete revolution--that's easy to remember.

Pinch the sight between thumb and forefinger. As you turn the adjustment, you can feel the direction of motion for even one or two clicks...

FWIW,
