Rear Bag be Better?

Hi All, I have a Caldwell Tack Driver Bag rest that I use at the range, But I'm wondering if a Rear Bag would help stabilze the rifle better for sighting in a scope?

Anyone have a Tack Driver - Rear Bag Set up they use?

Thank you in advance!!

:)

I don't use a Tack Driver, but I'd be willing to bet you'll never look back, if you buy a rear bag. It makes a big difference in stability.

"Whatever works is Good."

I make my own sandbags. Zipper bank bags, old shirt sleeves or pants legs. Old shot bags. They all work.

I prefer to have the rifle set on bags such that it's stable and the sights are close to center on the target with very little further manipulation on my part. I usually make the final adjustment by squeezing on the rear bag.

I use old shot bags full of sand.
Socks full of sand, rice, walnut media, etc work well too.
The sand socks have the virtue of being usable with a bipod as well as on the bench.
