"Real" weight of 686P vs. 66

On the S&W website, the 66 (2.5") is listed at 32oz and the 686P (2.5") is listed at 34.5oz. In an article in Gun Tests, they list the 66 at 36oz. (unloaded). What's the real deal? I would think that the 686p with a 7 round cylinder and being an "L" frame would be a lot heavier. Is there a big difference in how they "feel" for carry purposes?

Maybe somebody here has both... not me. I do know that the frame doesn't make as big a difference as you might think. My 4" 617 K-frame, 10-shot .22LR is actually heavier than the 4" 686 .357Magnum L-frame. I am guessing that the bigger holes in the 686 cylinder help to offset it's bigger diameter cylinder and larger frame.
