When I went to teach a hangun safety class last week, the sidewalk outside the indoor range was full of protesters carrying signs that stated that "All guns are evil and need to be banned.
Said protesters verbally harrased the students as they arrived for class. most of the students responded with a one finger salute.
the students were mostly female, and the ages ranged from 16 to 85. Interesting that the ones who scream for mandatory safety classes for handgun owners are now the ones protesting those same classes. the name of the group protesting the safety classes is "Nebraskans for the Banning of Firearms Posession" details of this idiot organization will be provided as I get them
....UPDATE!!...The protesters came back to last night's class... All 12 of them. This time we were ready for them.
First we all trooped past them into the shooting range, all of us were wearing enough firepower for the 82nd Airborne Division. (4 or more handguns each,some had battle rifles and or shotguns,and one soul brought her husbands legally owned M-60).
Once we were past the shocked gazes of the protesters, I made a call from inside the range. A few minutes later, as the class was warming up, The sounds of tractors could be heard pulling up in front of the range.
These tractors proceeded to park the trailers they werre towing and leave them in front of the range as they drove away. Said trailers were full of semiliquid pig**** and cow****(sic). and were uncovered. thus forcing the protesters to march in an ever thickening haze of gawdawful stink.
After the class, the students and I donned gas masks and headed for our cars which were parked about 2 blocks away. the protestes then fled to their vehicles anxious to get away from the smell, only to find that someone had stenciled marijhuana leaves and "Kill the pigs" on the doors of all the cars present.
The tractors came and hauled away the trailers of ****(sic) that had made the evening so pleasant for the protesters.
This morning as the NBFP was having their meeting at the local Shari's restaurant, my class and I were outside handing out flyers for our firearms safety classes, and holding signs with NBFP members pictures and the words "These People Want YOU DEAD".
The manager at the Shari's restaurant then told the NBFP that they could no longer hold their meetings there. And that he would have no part of their communist agenda. Oh yes, during our counter protest, we signed up 40 new students for our free classes.
