Reactive Targets

Anybody here OWN any reactive targets such as pepper poppers? I'm not really interested in responses from those who have used them in class etc, unless you had a role in resetting them, calibrating them etc. I'm more concerned with their value (bang for the buck) durability, easy of set up and how do you calibrate them for different calibers, and multiple hits etc?

Who makes decent ones? I've seen different models, and I've seen knock offs. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

i use a mix of home-made peppers for handgun, and factory-bought for rifle...good training, stay a distance back unless using some of the compressed-powder rounds out there...and if you're buying commercial and the intended weapon is a rifle, make sure the pepper is rated for rifle fire..nothing worse than prematurely wearing out a popper, especially at the going rate for a commercial copy
