Within the past couple of days, I posted comment/questions re Shell Oil's problem with high sulfur gasoline being produced and distributed. Seems as if the problem isn't limited to the Shell brand, by the way.
Some readers responded with comment and or questions, and at least one gentleman, there might be others, offered that he hadn't heard anything about this situation, which struck me as somewhat strange, but that's what was said.
One would have thought that there would have been quite a bit of coverage by media, of such a situation, with a view to the gallons of ink that, editorially speaking, have been literally poured all over other issues, yet it seemed that such was not the case. My local paper, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, which by the way describes itself as "One of America's Great Newspapers" contained exactly one small article, a week or so ago. Nothing since. Perhaps people have been "gotten to", who knows.
Anyhow, a couple of minutes ago, I did a quick and dirty google search (www.google.com), typing high sulfur gasoline into the search field. I was surprised, possibly I should not have been, at the number of references that came up.
For those who might have somehow been left "out of the loop", I suggest that they try a google search. Should one be, for any reason, less than happy with google, I suspect that other search engines, there are a number of them, would bring forth similar data.
