RE-loads for competition

What heads are the most accurate in a 659 .38 revolver?
Can't use WC in the 480 match because of the speed loader use.

TIA

I shot PPC for several seasons, wadcutters in speedloaders every time except Distinguished. What's your problem?

Lead roundnose swaged, cast+lubed or coated would be good, JHP will do well.
Plated would be about my last choice for accuracy greater than IDPA.

S&W .38 I think it's the stainless of the 586 model.
Semi wad in lead or plated. I have berry 158g plated (I think) not accurate at all.

The stainless version of the 586 is the 686. Anyway, what powder are you using and how much of it? For wad cutters and competition, you don't need a lot of mv.

"...most bullseye shooters just use plated RN?..." No. Cast or swaged, 148 grain, WC's for bullseye. So do most PPC shooters.
A Smith M659 is not a revolver or a 9mm. You'd best figure out what you have first.
"...heads are the most accurate in a..." The bullet, not a head, is not what determines accuracy in a particular firearm. Part of it, but you do not select the bullet according to what firearm shoots it best. You select the bullet and work up a load your revolver shoots best.
