Well apparently nortico SKS's use a really cheap and sticky varnish .Soooo I redid mine with some stain and urethane.

now I did notice the wood they used on mine was SUPER soft so you couldn't get it super smooth but I am happy with it
Gots ta git me sum dat stain and urethane dat makes da SKS look lik da AK....
