Hey, Just got a set of these in Small Base 223. If you have not seen the X series, they are designed so you do not have to trim your case necks ever again for the life of the brass. I anticipated that I would need 2 die sets so I got something else. Well, I was wrong. While reading the instruction I found that you can set these up for standard FL Size as well as the X size. So far the die seems great and is a lot smoother than my lee dies were. I also feel better having a small base set since I am primarily loading for AR platform.
I resizes my casings and trimmed to 0.020 below max per the instructions. I plan to take a small batch of brass and test cycle them to see if or how they grow. I will load up 10 or so and take those to the range every time, shoot and reload and see how much the grow.
