RCBS Uniflow Powder Dispenser question

I am new to reloading. I have watched all of the RCBS videos. I have re-read the instructions. No where can I find information on which direction the Bow Washer is re-installed onto the measuring arm. Maybe it doesn't matter however the washer has a bow to it. Does the washer bow towards the powder hopper or away from it? If it doesn't matter, my apologies to this learned group.

It is called a spring washer. It is bowed out toward the nut and away from the measure. You do not tighten it to much, just enough to keep the nut from moving.

Thanks folks

If only that parts diagram showed a "bow" to the washer which does have a pronounced curve to it. I know that the spring action will prevent movement of another part and recently read that someone had a problem with the measuring cylinder bushing backing off and the result was heavier loads than originally set. So, I guess that bow washer is meant to keep the measuring screw lock ring from moving....very interesting. I again thank you all for your guidance. By chance...I put it back in correctly but I would not have felt good about it until I could verify that. Off to reload...... :)

After some usage of the powder measure the cylinder might get sticky. Take the cylinder out of the housing, wipe it clean and puff it with graphite powder. It will run smooth for several hundreds of loads.
