So a few weeks ago we was on our honeymoon, stopped by Buds gun shop in Tennessee. Picked out a new vaquero in 45 long colt. Well when we got home, I started looking for the shell plate for my rcbs pro 2000. Everyone was out of stock at the moment. Called rcbs and told them I couldn't locate one. Lady asked what number I was looking for. Told her number 20, .45 colt. She politely asks if I have the dies and I say yes. Well you'll need a die plate too, what's your address. I give her the address and she states they'll be there in about a week. No charge for the two pieces. That's customer service at its best!

I lost one of the pieces to my RCBS hand primer, the metal rod that actually seats the primers. It rolled off the back of my workbench and fell in to some sort of black hole, never to be seen again.

I called RCBS to order a replacement, tried to pay for it and they wouldn't let me.

RCBS rocks.

That's been my experience, they've always sent me parts when needed. They replaced multiple priming stems and a 9mm sizer die that the carbide insert worked loose and stuck a case in it.

What I have found is it seems to depend on who you talk to at RCBS. I have phoned and have been told no problem will get that right out no charge.
Have also been told that you need to contact Sinclairs or others to buy it. Then phoned the next day for the same problem, different person and no problem will send it out no charge.

I bought two 44 Spl/Mag Taper Crimp seat dies from Midway. When I received them, they were Roll Crimp dies. Since the die boxes were labeled Taper Crimp, I figured the error lied with RCBS.

I called them and they sent two new dies with a return label for me to send back the old dies.

I was totally satisfied.

That said however, given their reputation, I was a little surprised they asked for the old dies back.

I have had similar experience's with RCBS, Hornady and Lee. All were more that fair and handled my issues promptly. Dillon did send new parts but it was a drawn out ordeal having to call a few times or email to explain the problem over again to 2-3 different people. I will say RCBS always seemed to be the quickest to send new parts at no charge.

I've tried to get parts from RCBS and even after I explained the need was because of my screw up they refused to take payment and sent the needed parts quickly.

Gotta love RCBS. The motor for my RCBS vibratory tumbler burned out after many years of service, and they sent me a new one free of charge!!
