Bought the combo with powder and scale. Unboxed it went to set it up calibrated it. No matter how money times i calibrated it when i zero the scale it just constantly keeps going up and doesn't stop. I already emailed rcbs about it but was just wondering if anyone ever had this problem.

Need better details , what exactly do you mean by "when i zero the scale it just constantly keeps going up and doesn't stop." ?

I didn't let warm up. When I hit the zero it zeros the scale but without doing nothing its like I keep adding weight the counter keeps going up

When you say the screen freezes up, do you mean that the reading doesn't change when you add or remove weight? If so, call RCBS because something is wrong with it.

Sounds like a call to RCBS in in order. I can highly vouch for RCBS customer service as OUTSTANDING ! , I dropped my RCBS powder drop and shattered the hopper tube , totally my fault , I got a suggestion from this forum to call RCBS and they will probably send me a new tube free , I called , they warrantied the tube N/C ! Call them , be NICE on the phone , and they will take care of you..

I had a problem with the swagger primer pocket combo. The large rifle primer was machined wrong I emailed them and all they said we will send new in mail free of charge. They didn't ask me when I bought it where I bought it or nothing so I've only used there customer service once and have nothing but good to say about it hopefully it's the same with this considering the price I paid for it. It's hard to find customer service like that anymore

I've been using the chargemaster 1500 for years never had a problem. The instructions does say to let it warm up, but it should not be doing that. If you followed the instructions it should stop at 00. RCBS will walk you through it, what ever the problem they will take care of it. Keep us informed.

I did try an let it warm up for a long time even when I first turn it on and the measurement comes up it just keeps going in 1 direction by itself

Even without warming up it shouldn't do that, to tell you the truth, I never let mine warm up, plugged it in zeroed with the pan on the scale added powder set my charge & I was ready to go. Even using a stick powder IMR 4064 it metered just fine. The unit is very good , they will fix the problem.

I'm not mad or worried. Stuff happens and it seems thy got good customer service. Still waiting on email back I figured it would be awhile since the holidays and stuff. The scale seems real delicate so it could of got messed up in shipping. The box I came in had no damage but the wasn't really any packing in either boxes so a simple drop could of messed somethin up.

Yea kinda. When I calibrate it sometimes going to next stop it freezes with a bunch of lines on the screen

If you are talking about when you hit CAL to go from 0 to 50 to 100, That is part of the calibration process. It takes mine several seconds after hitting the CAL button to go to the next weight and at that time I see the dashes all the way across the screen. Once the next number comes up, you add weight and hit the button again. Also, air conditioner running or fans will cause issues.

As others have said, give them a call and they should be very helpful. Their email responses have been a little slow over the holidays in my experience...
