Ranger Shotgun

I inherited an old Ranger double barrel 12 ga. It's a hammerless, double trigger, breakover model with a patent date of Apr.20, 1915. I can't find any serial numbers or any markings other than Ranger on the left of the receiver, and the patent date on the right of the receiver. Any ideas how to research it further, and find a stock for it?

The Ranger SxS I had that's now at a cousin's was a Stevens 311. Other Stevens models were Rangers also. Sears quit using Ranger after WWII.

Rangers were sold by Sears prior to WWII and were branded JC Higgins after the war.
