I recently bought a Winchester Ranger model 140 in 12Ga from a friend.
He informed me that it wouldn’t chamber the second round. Upon inspection I noticed the gas o-ring was missing, the weapon was cleaned and reassembled with a new o-ring and test fired with Win. Super x low brass 7-1/2.
I continued to use it for sporting clays firing well over 1000 rds without a jam or feed problem.
Last Saturday I went pheasant hunting. The 140 was loaded with win. Super x High brass 6s, upon firing, the second shell failed to load.
Please look into your crystal balls and tell me whats going on.
