Ranger 22LR

I was give a gun by my grandfather that he used when he was young and I would like to find out more information about it.

Ranger 22, 101-11 on barrel and a "12" inside a circle stamped on the barrel near the receiver. I've looked around for others and only found them with gills mine does not have gills.

My grandfather thought his father bought it from Sears at some time between 1920 and 1940.

I have a similar Ranger .22. From what I've found most were purchased from Sears and Roebuck, and were a Stevens .22 rifle rebranded Ranger for Sears. But I may be mistaken, this was Internet research
