Finally got to shoot my newly acquired 870 Express - 3 rounds of skeet and one round of trap. Considering I only paid $249 for this gun (with the synthetic stock), it has to be the best gun for the money I currently own. Mine has a 26" barrel and I purchased a full and skeet choke tube.

The gun performed and operated flawlessly, and it proves that you certainly do not have to spend a ton of money to break clay targets! If you are considering the puchase of one DO IT! You will not regret it one bit.
 
Congrats, just be aware that owning 870s is addictive. I've 5 here, and some others are either catching up or have more already(G)...

You may want to check the Archives for info on using an 870 for the clay games.

Also, while I believe one should be wary of folks with 10 choke tubes per bbl,a Cylinder tube is a nice addition, 'specially for Skeet.
