The first 50 rounds were a nightmare. Every mag had a failure of some sort. Nose dive on the first round of each mag. Failure to feed. Failure to go into battery completely. The ammo was Speer Lawman 124 gr. I was sooo disappointed I put the pistol away thinking I'd have to get the Dremel after her. After shooting a couple other guns I pulled the Springfield back out with some Winchester white box 115gr. 100 rounds later I was happy again as I had no failures what so ever. Just to see, I went and got some Speer Lawman 115 gr I had in the truck. One failure to go into complete battery but definitely better than the 124 gr. Both this pistol and my full size 1911A1 9mm seem to love the white box ammo. Glad Wally World has it so cheap. Accuracy with all loads was pretty good and recoil was not bad at all though a stronger recoil spring would be nice. All in all a good purchase I think and with some experimentaion with carryable loads I may tote this thing from time to time.
