range report on my new beretta 92FS

Hi everyone! Thanks for the encouragement in buying Beretta products. I fired 100 rounds through the gun today... my first time out with it. No jams, misfires, or other problems, and the bullets grouped very nicely... centered and to point of aim. My groups at 15 yards hovered in the 2-3 1/2" range, but this is the first handgun I've fired in over a year, and I'm happy with the results. More practice will only make me better! These groups, by the way, were shot at a B-27 sillhouette offhand, not from a rest. Once again, thanks for the help in making my decision!

In my opinion, the Beretta 92/96 series is the only TDA gun that's worth a damn. Keep the slide rails lubed with Tetra grease, same with the little rail in the frame that the barrel rides in.

Congratulations on your new work of art.

Hi Inspector, Okay, I've spent a few minutes thinking...but I didn't figure it all out. What is a TDA gun?
