Got my new Savage MKII from Wally World. It is so sweet, Jet black and with one hell of a smooth action, took it to the range yesterday to sight in the scope I put on it.
Man the action is so sweet and smooth and the trigger is flawaless.. Clean break and no creep. Started out at 25 yards just using regular Remington thunderbolts and the groups are great with all holes touching each other.
Eventually took it out to 100 yards and I was really impressed
The groups weren't as small as I would like but still nice, kept all shots in a 4 inch cirlce after sighting in and they were grouping about half the diameter of the cirlcle. I was using cheapo ammo so I think if I use some higher quality ammo the grouos should shrink with Practice
