Well I finally got to shoot it today and what a sweet gun the first 15 rounds were not that great I was not very happy. But after about 20 or so rounds smoothed right out and shot to Point of Aim. Very accurate. The only other thing was oil was dripping out everywhere could not wait to bring it home and clean it. I think it was a little over oiled from shipping. Anyway I am happy love the gun. and boy is that slide tight to remove what a tight gun it is.

:D

I had one, and stupidly traded it off. I've regretted it for years. The gun was wonderful. After it was broken in the slide felt like it was on ball bearings. It was so sweet. Good luck with it and don't ever trade it off ,you will be very sorry. I sure am.

When I got my 10mm Baer, he told me a minimum of 500 rnds before cleaning, preferable 750. Did you clean it already after 15? As I understand it the oil (CLP???) is sort of a breakin lube like they used to put in cars.

I ended up Putting 200 rounds thru it. ANd yes when I got home I cleaned it and oiled again and boy was it soaked in Oil..

Interesting post(s). . . usually the first thing I do is field and/or detail strip a new gun and clean it, just to make sure all is well, no metal chips or other odd stuff inside, proper amount of lube, etc. This is the first time I've heard a manufacturer recommend against cleaning a gun for a certain number of rounds.

I have a Baer Premier II and am extremely happy with it, so this good review of a Concept VII is no surprise.
