Range report for August 29th

Took my kid out to the range for his first taste of the M&P...

Started out slow with some single shots from the 7 yard line to get used to the trigger pull and reset for a few magazines followed up with some ball and dummy drills which he didn't flinch or dip at all. Moved on to the fun stuff, his response was "I love Mr. Glock (Glock 23) but this is so much better"

Went through approximately 300 rounds without any issues
 
I'm looking at those groups for a first time shooter. I'd say not only is he a bit of a natural but seems he's got a really good teacher too. Hope I get to have the same results in a few years when my son gets old enough to head to the range.
 
He has been shooting on and off for about two years but this was the first time of shooting on the move. At that range we can do pretty much what ever we want as long as the rounds go down range. He has shot everything from a .22 pistol, 9mm, .38/357 magnum, .40 and several 1911's
