Ok guys I took my yugo m24/47 to the range today and shot some groups with 3 different types of surplus ammo at aprox. 55yds. And I actually remembered my glasses this time. But I did forget to bring my good targets so please excuse theses poorly drawn one's.

Here is the romanian group:

Here is the copper washed czech:

Here is some Nickel plated yugo: (not the common 50's yugo)

I pulled one on both the czech and romanian groups but the measurements of the 4 shots are

Czech 5/8" group

Romanian 7/8" group

I didnt even measure the yugo, I was really dissapointed with it

Looks like you have a shooter on your hands. And that
is some good shooting by the way !

I really like M24/47 rifles. One of the best bargains to
be had in the shooting world right now.

Thanks for the info. I sorta did the same thing with my M48A last Thursday.

I shot S&B SPCE, Wolf Gold SP, and a box of 70's Yugo M49. I have a cheap scout scope mounted.

At 50yds:

S&B 4" high of POA with a 3" group
Wolf 4" low of POA with a 4" group
M49 (70's) 1" high of POA with a 1" group

Shoot the M49 at 100yds:
3" high of POA 2" group, 2 of 3 were touching.

Did a quick inventory when I got home. I have 9 boxes of the 70's M49 and 10 of the M75 (with is suppose to be awesome), two cases of 50's M49 and 2 tins of the Romanian. Plus some assorted hunting ammo.

I was very impressed with the M49. I hope one of my cases is 70's not 50's but I don't want to cut it open yet. I am glad to the Romanian shot well. I need to try it in my gun.
