range ammo

Looking to buy a case of ammo for the range, FMJ 116g stuff. Of the usual brands Fed, Rem, CCI, Hornady etc what have you found to be accurate and reliable? I have used most brands but not on a consistant and large enough scope to see much of a diff between them. Mostly it will be used in an EAA Limited match pistol so I want something accurate (not that most anything wont be fairly accurate at 75feet) no exposed lead and perferably round nosed.
basicly an accurate, clean, good feeding round

I have great results with the Blazer Brass 115 gr 9mm. It is clean, reliable, and the brass survives for reloading.

I have probably shot an approximate total of 15000 rounds of it. I have had two bad rounds, neither in the act of firing. One had a cracked primer, and the other has a split brass casing. Neither went into my gun, but 2 rounds out of that many is great for factory ammo IMO.

Stay away from the super cheap reloaded stuff, and the Winchester Whith Box. The few rounds I have run have been crazy dirty.

I have also had good success with Fiochi. Little bit more recoil than the Blazer Brass, but still clean and reliable.

Both the Blazer Brass and the Fiochi are copper plated round nose FMJ.

I've never had a problem with WWB in a variety of calibers, .380, 9mm, .45. After a little experience with factory reloaded ammo, I guess I would stay away here after; lots of smoke and dirty. I now reload my own.

I would say whichever you can find the most of. They are similar in performance. Some guns do better with different brands of FMJ practice ammo. My M&P seems to like Blazer Brass, and Federal Champion.
I however will not be buying any Reminton Sure Shot in the near future. I have had 2 squibs out of 2 boxes of 100. Purchased at 2 differant stores well over 300 miles apart. They also seemed to differ greatly in felt recoil every so many rounds. I used to swear by Remington ammo

Georgia Arms...

I buy in bulk/ loose 500/1000 rounds to an ammo can... only had it shipped to me once, just before last Dec. and then everything got scarce.... now I buy their stuff at the local gun show... don't know how available (what ever caliber you are looking for, 116gr doesn't tell me anything) is.
