Does anyone use this mold to cast for their 45-70? I'm talking about the 350gr mold.
Any first (or second, for that matter) impressions? I've got a 6-cav mold for this boolit, but haven't shot any of mine yet. I had some that I got in a trade, that didn't appear to have been cast very well. I tried those, with mediocre accuracy. I've cast a few with the 6-cavity, but haven't started working up a load, yet.
I'm also wondering if a 6-cav might be a bit more than I need for my shooting habits. A double cavity would probably make them fast enough for me. Of course, I can always only USE 2 cavities of the 6 cavity mold. It's difficult to use more than two cavities on a double..
