Rampant crime in Washington, DC

What one demographic group is responsible for the following laundry list of crimes and outrageously irresponsible actions?


36 have been accused of spousal abuse
7 have been arrested for fraud
19 have been accused of writing bad checks
117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses
3 have done time for assault
71, repeat 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit
14 have been arrested on drug-related charges
8 have been arrested for shoplifting
21 currently are defendants in lawsuits. and
84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year

Can you guess which organization this is?








It's the 535 members of the United States Congress.:barf: The same group of Idiots that crank out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.

That thread has been going around the internet for years and is false.... we just want to think it's true. Kind of like somefolks think if you pass more gun laws the crooks will obey them?

Regardless, DC is a third world country - a half million people wtihout voting representation, denied Consititutional rights, and run for the benefit and convenience of an elite class (aka the Congress of the United States). whuddayathink?

The reasons for the creation of the Federal District are as valid today as in the 1780's: to prevent any State from political interference with the operations of the Federal Government.

If D.C. achieved Statehood it'd be about a week before they passed a commuter tax to stick it to the Federal workers who work in town. Apparently the billions of dollars that the Federal Government gives to D.C. to offset the loss of a tax base due to all the Federal property isn't enough for those spendthrifts in the District Government.

Last time I was in town I didn't see any barbed wire, watch towers, or barking German Shepard dogs surrounding the city. In other words it's not a prison camp, although given the level of crime there that might not be a bad idea. The people who don't like it are free to move. And no, D.C. most definately was NOT a historically black city, don't even go there.

As for Constitutional rights, when did the residents of the District develop a concern for their rights? They consistently vote to deny themselves the benefit of the 2nd Amendment, why should I be concerned about their self-denial of their other rights by their refusal to move to Maryland? (P.G. County, The Other D.C.™).
