I too have seen so/so performance from the Taurus big-bores. RB 454 a good friend of mine got a while back, we took it to the range, before the first box of ammo the cyl. was locked up tight. Sent it back twice, after the second time and it still wasnt right, he just sold it. I will say though, with the scope mounted, what little shooting we did do with it, it was wickedly accurate (.002 gap helped).
If you can wear out a Ruger Redhawk or Blackhawk, call me and let me know I would LOVE to see that. Ive seen some of those guns that have had thousands of full house (and in all honesty some well-over-full house) loads put through them.
