Quick question about beavertails and Springfields

I'm about to order a Ed Brown beavertail safety for my SA no frills NM gov't model.
Is this gun a series 70 or 80?
 
I'm 99.5% sure that it is a series 70 pistol. Unless I'm mistaken they are built off or a 1911 frame and not the 1991 frame. Someone else here can chime in and correct me if I'm wrong.

The SAs employ no Series 80 parts so for lack of a better way to put it, you can call it a Series 70 pattern, but, thankfully, Springfields are not Colts.
