The GWP, the SKB, and jd just got back from a few pleasant hours of quail shooting. Gunner is the german wirehair pointer and the SKB is our 20 ga. sxs. The shooting is quick snap shots in the juniper trees, and I averaged 4 shots per bird.
I made some real braggin shots as well as some shameful misses. The gun is bored full and mod. Wouldn't mind opening it up to skeet and imp. All in all a nice afternoon hunt. Gotta go clean em. jd
