Quick Encore Bergara 209x50 question.

Just sold my 35 Whelen barrel and bought a Bergara 28" blued fluted muzzleloader barrel. Can anyone tell me if these barrels come drilled and tapped for IRON SIGHTS. I thought they did. But the one I saw may have just had the sights removed.

This Bergara muzzleloading barrel is specifically for the Thompson Center Encore.

The barrel kit includes a ramrod, and they are drilled and tapped for scope and fiber optic sights.

Includes a proprietary breech plug design but does not include a primer extractor and is not interchangeable with T/C factory breech plugs.

Niantician, you and I are going in opposite directions. When I moved to MS, I put asside my 209x50 Encore bbl and picked up a Whelen because MS allows Whelens during primitive weapons season. Funny how things work out that way.

Thanks Snyper. Doyle, I just cant shoot it well. Too much recoil for me in such a small light gun.
