Will a drop-in trigger work (ie release the bolt and fire the rifle as normal) if there is no safety lever installed? I am specifically looking at a Shilen Standard trigger for a Remington 700 5R (came with the X Mark Pro). I will order and then install the safety later, but I am in a bit of a time crunch right now. Plus, I can only load 1 round at a time (F Class 1000 yd match rule) so I don't imagine not having a functional safety would be a problem.
