I have a Parker shotgun that was my grandfathers I was wondering if anyone might know any information on Parker's I have picture i could send if someone is willing to help me out.

There are a couple of books on Parkers. I have one called "Parker Guns - the 'Old Reliable'" by Ed Muderlak, and a search on the Amazon or Ray Riling sites will turn up others. I don't know if there is a web site specific to Parkers; I don't know of any, but perhaps someone will know.

As you know, Parker values can range anywhere from a few hundred dollars for a plain Trojan in fair condition to well over $100,000 for an A-1 Special in top condition. Within grades, the major factor in determining value is the amount of original finish, mostly the amount of case coloring, remaining.

Even the plain grades are very collectible, and quite a few Parker owners actually (gasp!) shoot the darned things.

Another good reference work on Parker is a book titled Parker, America's Finest Shotgun by Peter H. Johnson.

Hope this helps.

Good luck, and good shooting!
