Questions for those who shoot GSSF

Is it pretty fun?

I'm thinking I want to do some competition stuff.. and I have a nice Glock that is very accurate, I was going to sell her but I took her out shooting yesterday and decided it against it :o

What can I do to practice for it?

And what other gear/equipment will I need?

Also, how many magazines? Should I get FML, or will my non FML ones work?

Check out the following web page GSSF There is no drawing from a holster or reloads on the clock. It is fun and you will definately see a cross section of shooters there. From a 11 year old kid to a 60 year old guy and everything in between.

As far as gear the only thing you need is a range bag, eyes, ears, ammo and magazines. I like to have four mags for each of my Glocks so that I don't have to hold anyone up. That said I have seen people bring a glock in the tupperware container with the two mags they got and have to reload between strings.
