questions about replacement AR mag springs and followers.

Bought a bunch of old GI mags and some are bad. I want to rehab them but if I'm spending over 3.00 per mag plus time switching them out, it'd be better to use them as a paperweight and just buy new Pmags...any suggestions on what I should buy, where, and how much I should pay?

From what ive seen of USGI mags, use them as intended, drop em on the ground when empty, and buy P-MAGs. Theyre probably some of the worst feeding mags in history, barring those craptacular modded AK mags for the SKS, those things would spit out 3-5 rounds at times, you had to redo the mag lips on every one of em, kinda the same for the GI mags.
