Questions about Beretta 92D & 92D Centurion trigger pulls?

I've heard the trigger on the 92D is very smooth, what is the pull weight & travel to discharge?

Does the 92D Centurion also use the 92D hammer spring?

Lastly, is there any way to further lighten the pull w/o affecting the pistols reliability?

Thanks in advance, long shot!

Don't know if this helps but here goes.

About a year ago I purchased a Beretta Model 92 Custom Carry, loved the pistol but the trigger was nothing to write home about. The single action broke clean but was heavy with some creep. The double action though smooth was very heavy. To make a short story long the Beretta went to a very reputable local smith with whom I've been dealing for many years. He performed an action job on it and the difference was incredible. SA light (Guess 3-1/2 to 4 lbs) and crisp with no creep, DA firm and long, but not heavy. Have never had a FTF in over 1000 rounds, mostly my reloads and cheap practice ammo, since the action was tuned.

In answer to your question yes action jobs can be done to Beretta's without any lose of reliability. Just be sure to check out the smith and his reputation prior to proceeding.

I only guesstimating here, but

I'd say it's around 9-10lbs. It IS dramatically lighter than its DA/SA brethren, and also much smoother. It's very close to a box-stock Ruger revolver in length-of-pull, just a lot lighter in weight. If you were to invest in an action job, you'd have the sweetest DAO this side of a Kahr Elite trigger. :D
