In watching the videos of yesterdays shooting, Iam disturbed by what appears to be a non justifiable shooting. In the first scenes of the video, the ploice have the black car surrounded. They were close enough to see inside the car. They also made the mistake of leaving the front portion of the car open for escape.
The woman driving never once displayed a gun and if she was carriying explosives in the car, that was the moment she could have triggered them. She escaped and was shot in the process. Shame on those cops who were so afraid, they had to shoot an unarmed woman, with a child in the car. As far as I'm concerned, there were plenty of other ways to stop that car and the driver.
I believe excessive force was used on this woman. There is something wrong when the mentality is shoot first and ask questions later, no matter any possible terrorist or person threat, if there is another ways to mitigate the incident.
ps
There were far too many shots fired to call these police heroes or professional.
