Question re: 10 round 1911 Magazines

Hello,

Someone from an unrelated forum is asking the following question and I thought I would pass it along for him here...


"I bought 5 10 round mags from Springfield, but its ugly how they hang out. Anyone make a rubber piece for the
base? Ive seen them on aftermarket mags, but its already on them, I want to add it. "

McCormick 10 round magazines come with a black plastic sleeve/plate that covers the entire end of the mag that extends below the 1911A1's grip. Also, I have seen (perhaps Wilson in the Dillons catalog ??) an adhesive rubber footplate that covers the base of the mag.
