Question on the mounted events?

Provided you can 1)stop the Harley, keeping your feet off the ground 2)back it up in reverse 3)start it with "giddyyup!" or words to that effect - I guess there should be no problem.

Now what about a railway engine and wagons? There must be some railway fans and/or organizations that maintain some period railway stock - running on short tracks or unused branches. There may even be some that are also shooters... that would be a great CAS stage! (we could even allow a Harley or two chasing the old "Iron Horse": A bike would have been just as unbelievable to the old first time viewers - but come to think of it why a Harley? who could deny an Indian?) :))

There are the scenes in "Bite the Bullet" where they use a sidecar equipped cycle. Of course they're throwing dynamite from the sidecar.
As for using an Indian, make sure you don't get tangled up in the suicide shifter :).

They used a motorcyle in the movie Big Jake. Who at SASS could object to using something that was in a John Wayne western? That would be uncowboy AND unAmerican.
For the stage using the train would the contestents shoot at targets mounted on the train or ride the train and shoot at targets on the ground?
Gunslinger

There was a shoot at my club a couple of years ago with a full-sized two dimensional replica of an engine, passenger car, box car and caboose. This was the team shoot. One shooter-rifle, one shooter-pistol(s), one shooter-shotgun. It had pop-ups, movers, swivel targets, etc. You name it, it was probably on this. I think the shooters had more fun on this than any other stage.

I guess there would be few Mounted action shooters willing to be the persuing horsemen, and we couldn't exactly have balloons chasing a moving train... or riding a bike either. Problem there.
Of course one scene would have to have a shooter walk along the roof of the carrriages to the engine,or vice versa.
