Question on Scope?

So Im building a new coyote gun. Im looking for a scope and havent found much info on Simmons Scopes. It will be going on a Savage 22-250. The scope I am looking at is the Simmons ProHunter 6-18x40 Scope, or Simmons 6.5-20x50 AO Whitetail Classic Rifle Scope.

Any info on either of these or Simmons Scopes ingeneral is much appreciated. Thanks
 
I owned a prohunter that i had mounted on a 270wsm. It held zero ok but anything over 12x looked blurred and had like a shadow to it. I just put one of the nikon coyote special scopes on a 243 and so far i really like it.
 
I've owned Simmons in the past, never had good luck with them. Mueller is a good budget scope brand, and Vortex is a great mid price and up scope brand. I've read good owner reviews on the budget Vortex scopes also.
 
I have had a few Simmons in the past but that was over 10 years ago and they were great I thought back then.

After looking around, Ill probably go with Leopold or Votex.
